The LINGOs Volunteer Program matches LINGOs member learning
needs with experienced professionals interested in giving back some of their time
and talents. LINGOs members request support in utilizing LINGOs learning tools
(such as Articulate, Elluminate and Outstart Trainer), formulating learning
strategies, designing and developing courses, managing their LMS, and much more.
LINGOs also utilizes volunteer talents to design and hold
training in areas such as on-line facilitation and project management; review
LINGOs course offerings for content relevance, and help with sharepoint and LMS
maintenance, among many others. The ways LINGOs can use volunteers are
limitless!
LINGOs Volunteers work virtually! They come primarily from the private sector and are
highly skilled in the areas of organization learning strategy, training and
facilitation, eLearning tools, etc.
The LINGOs Volunteer Community is a space where LINGOs members
and volunteers can connect and learn together. This site is where you can:
1. Review LINGOs
volunteer opportunities
2. Request a LINGOs
volunteer and review volunteer profiles
3. Find out about
upcoming LINGOs Volunteer Program events and announcements
4. Participate in
Volunteer Program discussions on topics of interest
5. Get ideas for how
you might use a LINGOs volunteer
6. Provide feedback
on your LINGOs volunteer experience
And much more...
