LINGOs is a consortium of over 40 international non profits who receive benefits from our partner organizations. Membership levels are granted based on the benefits that an organization receives.

All LINGOs members receive the following benefits:

• The opportunity to participate in communities of like-minded NGOs all working toward common goals relating to improving learning and staff development.
• Unlimited access to courses built by fellow NGO, such as courses on Project Management, Traumatic Stress, and Field Office Safety.
• 2 user licenses to the Articulate Rapid eLearning Development Studio v2009
• 3 user licenses to the Outstart Trainer eLearning Development Tool
• Up to 10 supervisor licenses of the Elluminate Academic Full Version which is a tool that allows organizations to run live synchronous learning events with up to 25 concurrent attendees. Reduced price on Elluminate Publish (per individual license is $50) which allows you to repurposed recorded events from an Elluminate recording.    Support Resources for Elluminate Live are summarized here. 
• Unlimited access to the Ninth House Management training series (Courses require a set of CDs to run, which costs $20 per set plus shipping)
• Access to the Harvard Management Mentor course series at a $1 a course (including the HMM10, the original courses, and the courses in Spanish)
• Limited access to online English training (first year you receive 40 licenses in Open English, consecutive years you receive 20 licenses)
• French and English language training CDs from Auralog at a cost of $10 per CD set plus shipping.

• Member discounts on other LINGOs-negotiated conference feeds, courses, etc.

Level 1 membership, at a cost of $3,300/year (plus a one-time $1000 initiation fee), includes all of the above plus:

• Access to a LINGOs-branded Learning Management System portal that links students, provides a standard catalog of courses available to LINGOs members, allows members to upload custom courses, and generates custom reports on student attendance.
• Access to 100 seats in the eCornell series.
• Support for up to 100 students and 10 Gigabits of bandwidth per month
• Training for the agency LMS administrator in student registration and other LMS functions
• Access to the Mindleaders LINGOs curriculum which includes online courses in the area of Information Technology, Management, Instructional Design, etc. (Access to 500 licenses for a unique course with a reduced price after reaching this number.)    

Level 2 membership, at a cost of $6,600/year (plus a one-time $1000 initiation fee), includes the above plus:

• Access to 200 seats in the eCornell series.
• Access to a hosted LMS sub-portal that allows the member to change the branding - adding member logos and changing communications
• Support for up to 500 students and 25 Gigabits of bandwidth per month
• Training for the agency LMS Administrator to learn how to register, setup the site, and manage the students.  
• Ability to upload courses that no other agency can view
• Capacity to build a customized catalog of courses
• Control over how students register for courses
• Access to the Mindleaders LINGOs curriculum which includes online courses in the area of Information Technology, Management, Instructional Design, etc. (Access to 1000 licenses for a unique course with a reduced price after reaching this number.)    
• A catalog of standard preloaded courses (called the Quick Launch)
• Ability to create a unique web address for the portal (such as careacademy.org)

Note: There's a minimum of a $2,000 fee to move from Level 1 to Level 2 or from Level 2 to Level 1, if you are migrating student records, hierarchies, etc, from one portal to another.

Note: Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st. If you join through out the year, you will pay a pro rated fee, based on when you join. For example, if you join July 1st as a Level 2 member, you will pay $3,300 for membership and $1,000 for the initial joining fee. See the Membership Payment Schedule document for exact dues amounts based on when you are joining.

Note:Membership is granted to an agency, so for example Save the Children US and UK are two different agencies. Member benefits cannot be extended either to partner and or implementing organizations.

All LINGOs members have the following responsibilities/commitments by becoming a member.

• Contribute with human interest stories and/or case studies of how LINGOs products impact positively their work (two stories/case studies per year)
• Become an active member of LINGOs members community
