 Overview

Virtual Classroom Mastery Series

The Virtual Classroom Mastery Series is a curriculum designed to support and promote member agencies into the virtual classroom medium. It is part of our strategy to acclimate member agencies into becoming world class online learning experts through education, coaching, hands-on experience and results-driven online activities.

The curriculum is derived from 2 individual courses(see the tabs above):

Designing and Developing Virtual Classroom Training
Managing and Facilitating a Virtual Class

Both courses are offered approximately every 8 weeks.  Dates for the coming classes are:

October 26 (Tuesday) 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. EST (the same time as in New York)

October 27 (Wednesday) 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. EST (the same time as in New York)

About the Instructor: Greg Davis

Greg Davis spent over 24 years with The American Express Company to tap into his life's passion: learning and development. Formally the Director of eEngagement, he has been an important advocate of collaborative learning in a virtual environment for American Express globally.

Acting as consultant from inside his own organization, Greg successfully assembled and led teams to design, develop, and deploy technology-enabled learning methodologies including web-based training, satellite broadcast, webcast and virtual classrooms. In 2000, he helped focus business partners, and their learning groups, on future technologies by driving blended solutions using both high and low tech approaches.  In 2007, Greg was instrumental in helping The American Express Company acquire a new learning management system.  Greg’s clients include The American Express Company, The TJX Companies, Interactive Design Consultants, LINGOs Organization, The SPD Foundation, and HANSA Consulting.

Cancellation or withdrawal: If you are unable to attend this class, please withdraw yourself by emailing anaraquel@lingos.org by the end of your business day the Thursday before your class begins. This is a highly interactive course and we need at least 10 students to run the class. At the same time, given the interactivity, we don’t register more than 25 students, and we often have a waiting list. Penalties may apply if we don’t have 2 business days notice of your cancellation.

Any questions about the course, please contact Ana Raquel Quevedo anaraquel@lingos.org  I look forward to meeting all of you and receiving feedback on this course.
