Upgrade to Articulate Rapid e-Learning Studio v2009

 Licenses

LINGOs member agencies receive two licenses for the Articulate Rapid e-Learning Development Suite.  Agency key contacts should send requests for licenses to licenses(at)lingos.org
 
LINGOs member agencies that have previously downloaded Articulate v5 are eligible to receive an upgrade key for v2009.
 
The Articulate End User License Agreement entitles a single user to use Presenter ’09 on a maximum of two computers, such as a home and work computer, or a desktop and laptop computer. If you wish to install the software on additional computers, or would like for more than one individual to use the software, you will need to purchase additional license(s).  http://www.articulate.com/support/terms/end-user-license-agreement.php

 Download and Upgrade Instructions

Articulate v2009 Download Instructions:
1) Download the full version of Articulate Rapid e-learning Professiona Suite:
http://www.articulate.com/downloads/09/
2) Run the setup program to install the software.
3) For users upgrading from Articulate Version 5, the v2009 download process will automatically uninstall previous versions of the software.
4)  You will be required to restart your machine once the v2009 Suite is installed.

ARTICULATE QUIZMAKER PRODUCT ACTIVATION:
1) Open PowerPoint and select the option to register.
2) Click Next and enter your serial number (provided by LINGOs).
 
ARTICULATE QUIZMAKER PRODUCT ACTIVATION:
1) Open Quizmaker and select the option to register.
2) Click Next and enter your serial number (provided by LINGOs).
 
PRODUCT ACTIVATION ENGAGE:
1) Open Engage and select the option to register.
2) Click Next and enter your serial number (provided by LINGOs).

1) Download the template kit:

 Moving Articulate Licenses between Computers

Question:  How can you manage Articulate licenses so that you do not lose access to the application when an employee leaves your agency, or when you replace your computer.

IMPORTANT:  Please note that it is extremely important that you ONLY follow this process if you still have your activation codes.  Notice there are version limitations that you should be careful to respect.

 Do You Need Help?

One of the strengths of the Articulate Rapid e-Learning Applications is its simplicity of use and its proven reliability.  This is one of the reasons it is an industry leader in its product category.  However, in the event that you need help installing, designing and/or developing courses - LINGOs recommends you follow two steps in addressing your challenge:
 
STEP ONE - There is an extensive array of support resources available to help new (and experienced) users learn and/or troubleshoot.  The first step users should take is to review these resources to address their challenge.  See the web part below (entitled Resources Available to Articulate Users)(Get Up To Speed) to learn about these resources. 
 
STEP TWO - If you are unable to address your challenge via the information found in the Resources Available to Articulate Users web part below, LINGOs might be able to help.  Contact Michael Culligan mike(at)lingos.org if you have technical questions concerning the installation and use of Articulate products.  We cannot guarantee that we can answer all questions, but we might be able to provide assistance.

New Users (and experience users too) are strongly recommended to take advantage of the many resources that exist to support their use of Articulate Rapid e-Learning tools.  These tools include the following:

The LINGOs Learning Tools Blog   Blog posts include the most recent information on tools available to LINGOs members, as well as tips, tricks and best practices for getting the most out of LINGOs Learning Tools.  This subscription is highly recommended for anyone who use Articulate products.  (subscribe to blog posts by e-mail)

 

The LINGOs LMS Test Portal

Many LINGOs agencies are using the Articulate Rapid e-Learning Development Suite to develop courses that are loaded to their Intralearn Learning Management System (LMS) sub-portals.  The LINGOs LMS test portal includes examples of Articulate-generated courses that have been uploaded into the IntraLearn LMS environment.  These courses serve as a proof of concept for the inter-operability and feature options of IntraLearn and Aritculate products.
