Outstart Trainer is a robust e-learning development tool that allows you to build stand-alone online courses.  Using OutStart Trainer's hundreds of flexible templates and drag-and-drop authoring, you can create rich course content without knowledge of HTML or Flash programming.
 
LINGOs member agencies (Level 2) receive three licenses for the Outstart Trainer e-learning development application.  Agency key contacts should send requests for licenses to licenses(at)lingos.org 
 
Recommended user audience:  Given the robustness of the templates and interactions available in OutStart Trainer, LINGOs recommends this tool for course developers who have intermediate-level skills in curriculum design and information technology.  Before adopting this tool, users should be fully computer literate and comfortable learning, adopting and troubleshooting new computer technologies.

The OutStart Trainer Customer Edge site provides a number of resources to help users of the Trainer Application.  Support services include a "community" for Trainer users. Discussion topics include General Discussion, Tips and Tricks, and How Do I?; a Knowledge Bank; and a Support Ticketing System.
 
You can access this valuable resource for Trainer developers at the OutStart CustomerEdge support site:   http://CustomerEdge.outstart.com.
 
Users of the Customer Edge support site require a username and password.  LINGOs members who require authentication coordinates for this support site should contact:  licenses@lingos.org
 
 
LINGOs members (through their relationship with Outstart) can also access e-learning resources that provide instruction on the use of OutStart trainer.  Contact licenses@lingos.org to access these resources.
