About PM4NGOs
Improving Project Capacity where it Really
Matters |
|
|
PM4NGOs (Project Management for
Non-Governmental Organizations) aims to optimize
international NGO project investments by enabling project
managers to be reflective, professional practitioners who
learn, operate and adapt effectively in complex project
environments. As a group of international relief,
development, and conservation organizations, PM4NGOs
works together and collaborates with private sector
companies, professional organizations, and universities to
achieve this goal. A brochure about the NGO PMI can be
downloaded from the shared documents file at the right. |

PM4NGOs Secretariat
LINGOs serves as the secretariat of PM4NGOs. The
initiative's work is guided through the direction from a working group
consisting of 5-6 NGOs who have financially contributed to the project. |
|
Stakeholders
The NGO Project Management Initiative is designed to
benefit international NGOs across the world. The activities of the
initiative, however, would be impossible without the
leadership and material support of the initiative's Contributing
Members (international NGOs who support the initiative's work
financially and through the Working Group's leadership) and the
Initiative's Partners from the private sector.
The Project Management Institute
www.pmi.org , in particular, has been exceptionally supportive
with their time, resources and financial contributions.
